MadonnaWashington (July 19, 2017, 2:47 PM EDT) — Madonna secured a temporary restraining order Wednesday in New York state court to prevent a collectibles dealer from selling “intensely personal” memorabilia, including a now-publicized letter from ex-boyfriend and rapper Tupac Shakur.

The order from Judge Gerald Lebovits will stop an auction, set to start Wednesday, that also would have included drafts of love letters to former boyfriends John Enos and Peter Shue, photos of a bachelorette party she hosted, a checkbook, unreleased sound recordings, a used hair brush and worn underwear.
